Challenge: The Goldman Prize is internationally known as the "Nobel Prize for the Environment" seeking to recognize grassroots environmental activists who are working at a local or regional level to protect the environment in their parts of the world. The program evaluates hundreds of nominations each year and must efficiently manage the nomination and review process as the Prize jury selects each year's winners.
Solution: Design and development of an integrated database and document management application for tracking nominations, conducting nominee research and administering the selection and award process of the Prize program.
